History of Progressive Packaging

After accepting a job with a vertically integrated manufacturer in the corrugated industry, Russ Crowe was introduced to the world of packaging. For two years, his training and product knowledge increased along with improving relationships with customers, at the same time he realized working with a large corporation had many pitfalls. It became a position of “what not to do” regarding how to treat a customer. Leaving there, he took a job as a Sales Manager for a small independent box plant, and after a short time there, he began Progressive Packaging. After learning the “do’s” and “don’ts” with those other jobs, Progressive Packaging was incorporated in December of 1995. The company was created with the mission of “dazzle ‘em with service and the box will sell itself." It is our belief that customer service comes first in this business. What we do, we do it well yet we are not hesitant to say we can’t.
