Careers with Progressive Packaging

When Progressive Packaging began back in 1995, one thing Russ and Kim Crowe knew right from the beginning was that their business would only be as successful as the individuals who worked alongside them.

Over the past two decades, Progressive Packaging has grown to two locations, but our sense of camaraderie and teamwork has never faltered. We’re all in this business together, and Progressive Packaging is always on the lookout for self-starters and team players looking for a new in packaging jobs and careers.

Interested in working at Progressive Packaging? Take a look at our different departments:

Our lead designer graduated from Clemson University’s Packaging Science program, and designing high-quality, cost-effective customized packaging solutions for our clients is a point of pride.

In the design department, it’s all about taking our clients’ product and its specialized packaging requirements and turning out a visually pleasing packaging product design that still provides top-notch protection.

Manufacturing & Hand Assembly

In our Manufacturing department, employees do the hard work of putting together the corrugated packaging solutions we’ve designed for our clients. In Manufacturing, you’re truly part of a tightly-knit team, working together to quickly prepare packaging products and supplies for clients throughout the Southeast.

Not every client will choose to utilize our Hand Assembly service, but those who do are expecting quick and careful hand assembly of their packaging, performed with precision and accuracy. We’re looking for individuals with an eye for details and a high level of organizational skills.

Warehousing & Inventory Control

Our Warehousing and Inventory Control service is really where it all began for Progressive Packaging, and we take pride in offering a warehousing service that many of our competitors don’t.

In our Warehousing and Inventory Control department, we store clients’ manufactured packaging and ensure that it is well-protected from the elements or any other potential damage. We also make sure our clients know their exact packaging inventory counts when they need them and prepare the packaging for shipment when an order arrives.

Logistics & Distribution

One of the ways Progressive Packaging stands out from the crowd is our private fleet of trucks and drivers, as well as privately-owned trailers. Thanks to having our own dedicated logistics department with drivers on hand, we are able to provide a speedier delivery with greater reliability than the competition.

Drivers interested in working for Progressive Packaging should have a good working knowledge of driving tractor trailers and the willingness to utilize the I-95 and I-85 travel corridors to quickly deliver our clients their packaging throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.
