At Progressive Packaging, giving back to the community that has given us so much has been core tenet of our operation right from the start.
Not only do we contribute to charities within our Simpsonville, South Carolina and Early Branch, SC communities, but we also provide scholarships for the Clemson University Packaging Science Program and further donate to support research and development within the department.
Russ Crowe spent time on the board for the Meyer Center for Special Children, and he believes it is important for Progressive Packaging to increase our involvement with beneficial organizations — whether in the sense of donating time or money — as our business grows.
Initially our charitable involvement was focused close to our Simpsonville, South Carolina headquarters, but with our second location in Hampton County, SC, we have leveraged our ability to provide packaging solutions to a greater service area to also allow us to become further involved with a wider variety of charities and beneficial organizations.
